Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Zenterra IT (zenterrait.com) is a web development studio. Our services are provided by LLC ZENTERRA, a company registered in Ukraine (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. What data we collect

  • Data you send us: your name, email address, company, information about your project (type of service, goals, example websites, budget, deadline) and anything you share by email, Telegram or during calls.
  • Data we need to work together: contact details of your team, billing details (company name, address, tax or VAT number), contracts, invoices and project correspondence.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and timestamps, recorded in server logs by our hosting provider for security; and analytics data, only if you give consent.

We don’t ask for sensitive data (such as health information). Please don’t send it to us.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

  • To reply to your request and prepare a proposal — steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To deliver our services, invoice and keep records — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • To keep the website secure and block spam — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To measure how the website is used — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To follow up on your request or tell existing contacts about relevant services — our legitimate interests; you can opt out at any time.

We don’t sell your data and don’t use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. AI tools

We use AI tools (such as Claude by Anthropic) in our development work under business terms that do not allow the provider to train its models on our content. We only use project information in these tools when it is needed for your project, and we don’t put production data containing personal data into them without your agreement.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run our business and only as much as they need:

  • our website hosting provider and email service provider, which store and deliver messages from our contact form;
  • Calendly, if you book a call with us through it (their own privacy policy applies), and analytics tools, if we add them to this website (only with your consent);
  • AI tool providers, as described above;
  • banks and payment providers, and our accountant, for payments and bookkeeping;
  • freelance platforms such as Upwork, if you work with us through them (their own privacy policies apply).

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

6. International transfers

We are based in Ukraine, and some of our service providers are located in the EU, the United States or other countries. Where data is transferred outside your country, we use providers that offer appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Requests that did not lead to a contract — up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Contracts, invoices and related correspondence — for as long as Ukrainian tax and accounting law requires, and up to 3 years after the project ends in case of legal claims.
  • Server logs — for a limited period set by our hosting provider.
  • Analytics data — no longer than 14 months.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to administration@zenterrait.com — we reply within 30 days.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in the EU — the authority of your country; in Ukraine — the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.

9. Cookies

This website doesn’t use cookies for tracking or advertising. If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage on your device and is never sent to us. The fonts on this website are served from our own server, so no third-party font service receives your data.

If we add analytics that uses cookies, we’ll ask for your consent first and update this policy. You can clear data stored by websites in your browser settings at any time.

10. Security

We protect data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), two-factor authentication, separate access for each project and limited access rights. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

11. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
